                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO EXECUTE
                   SUPPLEMENTAL ENGINEERING AGREEMENT #1 WITH
                   COOK & SPENCER CONSULTANTS, INC., RELATIVE
                   TO THE RED BANK SEWER DESIGN CONTRACT, FOR
                   AN ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION OF AN AMOUNT NOT
                   TO EXCEED FORTY THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($40,000.00) FOR A REVISED TOTAL CONTRACT
                   PRICE OF NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND AND NO/100
                   DOLLARS ($95,000.00).

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department
       of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to execute
       Supplemental Engineering Agreement #1 with Cook & Spencer
       Consultants, Inc., relative to the Red Bank Sewer Design 
Contract,
       for an additional consideration of an amount not to exceed
       $40,000.00 for a revised total contract price of $95,000.00.
